After a few challenging years weeks lol, I am experiencing more ease today, and realizing how much I have to be thankful for, and given it is our Canadian Thanksgiving weekend, gratitude is the theme of the day. Things that I’m grateful for include: family, friends, health, work, clients, art, Jane Goodall, Taylor Swift, travel, animals, literature, history and nature… and I could go on and on! Life certainly gets ‘real’ (hard) at times, but, if we look for it, we can always find the silver lining hidden amongst the mess…
…AND there is one standout item that I am especially grateful for, and that is the fact that ‘The Relationship Reset’, my coaching program for women who want to improve their relationship, and lead in their life and relationships, is now on-line!!! After running the ‘live’ program last year, the curriculum has been streamlined and updated, and is now ready to go as a self-paced program, and our first weekly Office Hours starts Thursday, Oct. 23rd! One of the great perks of The Relationship Reset is the access, over the long-term (as it is an ongoing program) to a supportive community, as we learn best from each other right, and there is magic in the collective. So if you are looking to improve your relationship (and life!) and strengthen the love and connection, not just between you and your partner, but your own self-love too, then you will want to speak with me and find out how you can join The RR program.

Autumn again…
And just like that…autumn is upon us again.
The pic above of my son and dog was taken this past week, and you can see how some of the leaves on the trees are almost all gone already. Holy smokes – Where did this year go?! So far 2025 has been a year of big stuff for my family (more on that in another post) as we evolve, and in some instances, we are still finding our feet (the peaks and valleys of life), and I believe this trend will continue into 2026. One high point for me of the last few months was a trip I took to Sicily with my Mom (pic below). It was such an invigorating break and really helped to ‘fill my cup’, if you know what I mean. How can you not be inspired by great art and architecture, an active volcano, friendly people, delicious food and a beautiful, temperate setting? Highly recommended!

More Gratitude – Celebrating 10 Years in Business!
So how about you?
I hope 2025 has been good to you so far, and that you are grateful for the good stuff, as well as the lessons learned. It has definitely been a year of growth for me, sometimes comfortable, sometimes not so much. I recently did a social media post on my last 10 years in business, working as a counsellor and coach, and it was an instructive exercise to reflect on both the things that went well, as well as the the things that did not. You can find the link to it on FaceBook (HERE). (*you might have to scroll down a bit, past posts about Taylor’s new album!- LOVE IT!!! and my son’s birthday – and be sure to send me a friend request if we are not already connected).
The pic below was back in the early days of my coaching business when I held workshops like ‘Frazzled to Fabulous’ (I cringe at that name now lol) around the lower mainland, and was part of my 10 year ‘retrospective’ post.

over these last 10 years
Deep Reflection Works! … more on 10 years in biz
Usually my nature is to quickly move from one project to the next, without giving too much deep thought to how things have gone, so this time round I was very intentional about slowing down, pausing and really considering where I have been these last 10 years, and where I want to go in the decade ahead. To think about what worked well, and what didn’t work so well. Life is very hectic these days (hello sandwich generation!) for everyone it seems, and we just don’t get enough time to stop and reflect, but that is where the GOLD is, and I found my ten year review a really helpful exercise. I invite you to do a 10 year reflection yourself, as you likely will be surprised by what comes up.

New YouTube Videos!
Yesterday I did a quick YouTube video (below) in which I spoke about what I had learned from counselling and coaching (both individuals and couples) who were wanting to fix their marriage or relationship, and what I discovered about these clients. I have done a few YT shorts these last few months, so be sure to check those out as some may be quite helpful to you.
There is one I did just last week on how we are all students of ‘Earth School’ which is a helpful reframe to use when life feels tough. *And if you haven’t already subscribed to my channel, please consider doing so, as that way you will not miss any of my content around having the best relationship and life possible, and in the coming months there will be more long form videos coming!
Lifting the dark cloud / taking off the blinders – helpful ‘reframes’ and MORE!
So above I mentioned the useful reframe called ‘Earth School’ (check out the YouTube short as it reveals all! :)) and it never ceases to amaze me how a simple shift in perspective can change how you see the world. It’s like when you wake up in a grumpy mood but then you hear a favourite song on the radio, or coming from the speakers at your local coffee shop, and VOILA! the dark cloud lifts. Or when you are venting to a friend, coach or counsellor about a troubling situation, and then they say something in response that causes your brain to do a 180 degree reset. Those are powerful paradigm shifts!
That is what I love about The Relationship Reset program for women – it’s the internal shifts that happen when you move through the program, the cracks in the armour (which we all have) that eventually lets the beautiful, wise light in. The RR curriculum has ALL that you need – the frameworks, the tools, and the mindset work, and by applying the learnings, you can take a crappy day, a draining situation, or a struggling relationship, and BAM! turn it on its head – regardless of the outcome– (because we can’t control anyone else- just ourselves right?) and I don’t know about you, but I certainly have days where I need this kind of reset! That said, meaningful change requires commitment over time, and so you have to be ready to ‘do the work’ and apply the teachings over the long term.
If your life or relationship could benefit from a boost, you know what to do, click HERE to set up a call with me to discuss whether The RR program is the right fit for you.

That’s it from me my friend!
I wish you a wonderful Thanksgiving weekend if you are celebrating, or a lovely Sunday if you are not, and remember that if you are mindful about counting all the things in your life that you appreciate, or are grateful for, the power of gratitude is always available to you.
