As the old year winds down, my thoughts are turning to the upcoming Christmas holidays, and to the shiny new year that beckons. How about you? Have you been able to catch your breath and consider the year that was, as well as what you would like 2026 to bring to your life and relationships? If you haven’t, no worries! as you still have plenty of time, and I have a powerful year end reflection for YOU, which will help you to get clear on the lessons learned in 2025, and will bring forth more clarity around how you would like your 2026 to unfold (*scroll to bottom to get the questions).

It’s a Wrap!

This past month we wrapped up the fall session of The Relationship Reset program, for women looking to transform their relationships, and from the feedback I have received so far, it seems that the program content and the ‘live’ Office Hour sessions has been well received by the participants, with many putting their new learnings to work, for the betterment of their marriage / relationship.

It took a lot of work on my end, to whittle the content down, to ensure it was the most impactful / helpful, and to get the course on-line and figure out tech issues, but we got there in the end, and I want to give a big shout – out to Paula for assisting me with this!

Now, it is nice for me to have a few weeks off, to do my own year end reflection, and to refine / add more content, so it can be the MOST helpful to the women in the group. Things are now shutting down for Christmas, and will be resuming in the New Year, but the neat thing about The Relationship Reset program is that it is on – line, accessible at all times, so members can go through the content at their own pace (even over the holidays if they wish to). If you think that the RR program may be a benefit to your marriage / relationship, watch this space, as I will be setting up Discovery Sessions in mid- January so interested women can find out more.

ICYMI (in case you missed it)

If you haven’t already seen it, a week or so ago I filmed a quick YouTube video around something I was struggling a bit with, (to do with my parents, more on them below) and in this video I shared ONE important word, that helped me out of the mental jam I was in. You can check it out below.

Christmas Tree Farm – The End of an Era

In 2026 our family will be experiencing a big change, as my parent’s have sold the small hobby farm they have lived on these last 30 years, and will be moving into a smaller home, closer to us and other family members. If you have been a long time reader, you will know that years ago my Dad would sell the Christmas trees he had planted, but as time passed he was unable to keep up with all that managing a Christmas tree farm required. The last several years the trees have been pretty much ‘Charlie Brown’ in nature, growing wild, but we still loved them. The tree you see here will be our LAST ever tree from my parent’s farm. We had to cut it out from under some blackberry vines, and it’s scraggly with a few bald spots, but we think it looks beautiful, and of course nothing beats that fresh tree scent!

End of Year Reflections on Your Life & Relationship(s)

As promised, here are 10 questions for you to consider as we close out 2025, that will set you up well positioned for all the powerful new year energy!

1. What surprised you this year?

2. What delighted you this year?

3. What drained you this year?

4. What did you tolerate this past year that the ‘you’ of 2026 would not tolerate?

5. What did you say “yes” to that lit you up like a candle?

6. What was a relationship ‘win’ for you?

7. What is 1 relationship thing / behaviour that you want to leave behind in 2025?

8. Who or what in your life deserves kudos (thanking / appreciation)?

9. What deserves to be left in 2025?

10. What kind of energy do you want to bring into 2026?

Carving out some quiet time for yourself and going through these questions may uncover some golden nuggets of wisdom and help you set off on the right foot, grounded and intentional, in 2026.

I Bid You Adieu!

That is it from me my friend, hope you have a wonderful holiday season and wishing you much health and happiness in 2026!
