Hello there, this latest video in my YouTube series on relationships is ‘My Partner Has Shut Me Out -How Can I Fix My Relationship?’ In it I discuss 10 reasons why your partner may be shutting you out (some of which may have nothing to do with you), I also share strategies for reconnection and talk about the one KEY trait every marriage or relationship needs in order to stand the test of time.

Winter Recap

I’m not going to lie, January and February have not been the healthiest months for our family. It seems as soon as one person kicks their cold and is feeling themselves again, another family member comes down with something new like a lingering cough.

As I write this, it remains chilly outside with snow predicted for today. We had a bit of sun these last few days but before that it had been blustery and cold, like it was the day I snapped the above pic of my eldest son and our dog at White Rock Pier. With a dog you have to get out rain or shine (or snow) and my son and I always benefit from the fresh air. Blows away the cobwebs!

It’s All Good!

The It’s All Good! coaching group has been running since early January and it’s been great to connect with the lovely participants. We have covered topics ranging from goal setting, to blocking energy drains, to the varying forms of trauma and how to heal. We have also been discussing various techniques to help us stay energized and positive so we can more quickly get out of a low mood or negative head space, and who doesn’t need that from time to time? I know I do! 🙂

This fabulous bunch and I will be winding things down over the next couple of weeks and we can then head into Spring feeling focussed and better prepared for whatever life has in store for us.

New Video!

As mentioned, my newest video is up (click on picture below) and may be helpful to you or someone you know who is struggling with a partner who isolates or shuts down. It’s a complicated situation to be sure but it CAN be navigated. You can check it out below and remember to subscribe to my channel when you are there, and if the content resonates with you give it a ‘like’ and comment below the video (over on the YouTube site), I would love to hear your thoughts!

March is almost upon us!

In the It’s All Good! coaching group we were discussing Imbolc (also known as St. Brigid’s Day) this is a Gaelic traditional festival that marks the beginning of Spring and usually occurs on February 1st which is roughly the halfway point between the winter solstice and the spring equinox.

I like the concept of celebrating Imbolc / St. Brigid’s Day, as it’s a long stretch from Christmas to Easter and I know for me, to see the snow drops pushing out of the ground and the blossoms buds appear on the trees it is worth celebrating. Yet despite the snow predicted for today we continue to move closer to summer. Woo hoo!

Well that’s it from me my friend.
